New Cloakroom WC delights Giffnock customer

We were asked by our clients to convert what was a small cupboard at top of their stairs, next to main bathroom.  Our client was keen to add  a second WC cloakroom for guest use and whilst it is a small area, he hoped we could provide some storage for odds and ends as well as looking modern and easy to maintain.

Create Bathroom and Kitchen Studio installed a RAK fully enclosed WC set to ensure there was no unsightly pipework on  display and used a HIB White gloss cloakroom basin unit to provide a hand wash facility with just enough storage.

A chrome ladder rail / mirror and accessories were installed along with splash back tiling to give the finishing touches to what is now a great usable space instead of a small cupboard.

Our client commented:

“We are delighted with the cloakroom.  In addition to Create Bathrooms & Kitchens we had three other companies out to view the job. One declined to quote, two others did not listen to what we wanted and tried to sell us a Saniflo system. So, Create Bathrooms and Kitchens were the only ones to listen to what we wanted and produced a very competitive estimate.

“After visiting the Showroom, which helped enormously in choosing various items,
we accepted the estimate.

“We were kept well informed of likely start dates.

“Gordon, the fitter arrived promptly and kept us informed at all stages. As it
turned out, the removal of a simple boxed in area turned out to be a
unsupported chimney and Gordon quickly arranged for a builder & architect to assess if it was safe to remove. We are grateful for this, as others would have been
reluctant to undertake this removal.

“All in all, Gordon and the electrician and plasterer carried out a superb job in converting an old ‘very small glory hole’ into a plush and good sized cloakroom.

“Many thanks for a great job.”
